Metal Free Crowns and Veneers - Closing Gaps with Porcelain Veneers - 07/09/2003Gap Porcelain Veneer

Sometimes spaces between front teeth are the result of having a wide maxillery arch, often accompanied by a wide face. When this is the case, braces are often needed to bring the teeth together in front and close the gaps.

But when a gap occurs because there is a small tooth present in the arch or one of the teeth is slightly rotated then the gap can be restored using a porcelain veneer.

The picture above shows a patient that has a cavity on the front of one of her front teeth which happens to have a space between it and the adjacent central incisor.

I suggested that we take care of both problems with a porcelain veneer. Click on the picture above to see the end result.
